National Security Protection

National Security Act Section 5e) authorises and obliges the Constitution Protection Office to guarantee the security protection of organs, institutions and facilities that are important in terms of central state power and government activities. An exhaustive list of such institutions is found in Government Decision 1232/2009 (30 December). The AH concludes a cooperation agreement with those facilities, where the parties determine the legislative background of their joint work and the ways to perform it.
In this field, AH lays the main emphasis on prevention. By providing information, raising awareness and maintaining continuous and efficient cooperation with the particular institution, we aim to guarantee that no trend will emerge which could endanger (national) security interests.
In co-operation with the affected parties, the AH performs its duties by providing information about dangers and risks and by making recommendations.
